THE VOYAGER SERIES

       "THE AQUARIUS ERA"

Dedicated to Edgar Cayce.

Edgard Cayce (1877-1945), is considered in the U.S.A. to have been a man of exceptional abilities, "the greatest visionary in America" and "the sleeping Prophet" in that he was capable of entering into a state of self-induced hypnosis. In this state of self-hypnosis he was able to foresee, among other things, the entrance of the United States, around about 1910, into a war that would be the last world conflict, and also the youth revolutions of 1968. However the mission of Edgar Cayce on this Earth (he also predicted that he would be reborn in 2010) was not only that of a prophet and councillor. He has left us a message of love, peace, optimism and of preparation for a new Era, characterised by the spread of peace throughout the world and development of man's psychic abilities which he called THE AQUARIUS ERA and which he claims will arrive in 1998.

           "DERMOSPHERA"

It is musically conceived as fantasy voyage within our skin, a real landing by a microscopic spaceship on the epidermis.

             "OUROBOROS"

The "Ouroboros" represents the most appropriate and disquieting symbol of the eternal cycle of life: from the individual's destiny which is lived out between birth and death, to the limitless continuity of the evolutionary current.

A circle, without doubt.

But a circle which seen capable of uniting in a single in three dimensions turns out to be a SPIRAL: the only cosmic shape design the galaxies, the vortexes of the wind and the shells of the smallest sea snails. The eternal return never leads back to the same point of departure. The jaws of the "ALCHEMIST's SERPENT", the Ouroboros itself, close on its tail which is at the same time always new.

          "STREAM OF GOLD"

Throughout our lives, right from our earliest days we struggle with our own kind to gain a toy, we struggle to assert ourselves in society, we struggle to defend our territory, as if these things were truly at the basis of our self realisation as human beings.

The true solution is within ourselves and is to sought by following The Golden Stream that is embedded in every one of us.

                  "FREE K-2"

In August 1990 an ecological expedition was organized by the famous "Mountain Wilderness". The objective of the expedition was to bring back K2 to its original pristine condition by removing three tons of solid wastes, thirty thousand soft-drink cans and more than ten kilometers of rope left by earlier expeditions season after season. All too often the struggle to conquer the famous peak has led us either to consider of secondary importance, or even to forget altogether, the respect we should have for the nature and for the mountain perceived as a bastion of freedom, of authenticity, of personal challenge adventure.

The mountain as the last refuge of silence and solitude.

     "TIENANMEN  SYNDROME"

John Sposito - Tienanmen Syndrome

Dedicated to Tienanmen students.

"We are not looking for death but for true life"

June 2 '89

Deeply moved by the well-know events which occurred in June 1989, I wanted to narrated in music this absurd story aiming manly not so much at a political comment on the events, as at a love story (something which is entirely the fruit of my immagination) between a chinese boy and girl a love story which stars in that very square during the Sit-In which finished so tragically.

TIENANMEN EVENTS

20th MAY '89

They orders are: "......a normal military exercize in Tienanmen Square".

The soldiers are told of the situation by the citizens of Peking. The citizens slap and push the soldiers

about. Many soldiers are only eighteen years old and weep because of that multitude of people who

question them about their task and about their own sons and daughters who are at the Sit-In.

The first riots in the outskirts begin.
